Servers questions
Where can businesses sell used servers?
To an international IT asset trader that already has buyers for enterprise hardware. TAR buys used and surplus servers from suppliers in the USA, UK, Australia and Europe and remarkets them into buyer markets across the UAE and Asia.
Does TAR buy servers with drives still installed?
Yes. Say so when you describe the shipment so it is recorded accurately. Storage media is separated on arrival and handled under storage media solutions.
Are older server generations still worth selling?
Frequently, yes. Demand for older generations is stronger in some markets than others, and components often retain value even when the complete unit does not. It costs nothing to ask before treating a rack as scrap.
