Everything with a circuit board and a second life.

Additional IT and electronic equipment considered.
The seven categories above describe what moves through TAR most often. They are not a limit. If you have IT or electronic equipment that does not fit neatly into any of them, describe it — TAR would rather look at an unusual list than miss something worth handling.
Condition
What condition does TAR accept?
Across every category, the honest answer is: describe it accurately and TAR will evaluate it. Only a few specific conditions are excluded, and those are published rather than discovered on arrival.
| Condition | Considered? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| New / unused surplus | Yes | Original packaging adds value where it exists. |
| Used and working | Yes | The largest share of what TAR buys. |
| Used, untested | Yes | Normal. Describe it as untested rather than guessing. |
| Faulty or non-working | Yes | Component and material recovery routes still apply. |
| Physically destroyed media | No | Drilled, hammered, degaussed or broken storage media has no route left. See HDD intake. |
